To run any program, you simply click on the K in the lower left corner of your screen. Here you see the System submenu, which is where the core utilities for your computer are situated.

Browsing websites and your computer is as simple as starting up Konqueror, the KDE webbrowser.

Want to write a letter or a dissertation? Ark Linux includes OpenOffice.org, of course customised to fit in with the rest of your desktop.

Play your music using the world's most advanced music player, the award winning Amarok.

Play games using Ark Linux - For example Freeciv, the Free clone of Sid Meier's Civilization.

Play games with Ark Linux - For example Supertux, a hop and jump game in the style of Super Mario Bros.

If you need to set up anything on your computer, simply start the friendly but powerful Mission Control, the system preferences tool developed by the Ark Linux team.

|
If you need any software, start up Kynaptic, either using Mission Control's Install Software option, or by starting it directly through using the Kynaptic entry in the System submenu of the K Menu. If you find anything missing in it, never hesitate to tell us about it!
